Select the source you want to change
Choose a track, switch to Select range and highlight a phrase. Exact Start seconds and End seconds help you enter boundaries that are awkward to drag. Applied presets use the selected audio when a range is active, and the selected track audio when no range is active. Keep the range visible so the intended part is clear before you apply a change.
Choose what should remain
Keep selected seconds removes the audio outside the selection. Remove & join removes the selection and retains the beginning and ending. For aligned AI stems, enable the all-tracks option so those cuts stay synchronized. Listen across the new join to check phrasing and rhythm. You can remove either operation from Applied edits to restore source audio.
Audixo noteMake one change, listen, then decide. Clear A/B decisions beat stacking effects blindly.
Repeat a phrase with Duplicate
Duplicate range appends a copy of the chosen audio after the existing recording on that track. Duplicate audio repeats the track audio when no selection is active. Copies preserve the current sound. The duplicate has an entry in Applied edits, and copied sound settings can be adjusted separately. Removing the duplicate removes its appended audio and associated copied settings.
Remove one change at a time
Applied edits lists trim, cut, duplicate and sound changes under the timeline. Remove a mistaken Echo preset there while retaining another active effect. Undo and Redo offer a quick way to step through recent changes. Clear edits restores original imported sources and removes added duplicates; it keeps independently imported tracks. Export only after checking the current arrangement.
Now make it yours.
Bring a real recording into Audixo and use the workflow while it is still fresh.
